USITT-OCU
President: 2024-2025
Vice President of Finances: 2023-2024
Through my tenure of being on the executive board of Oklahoma City University's student chapter of USITT, my team and I were able to revitalize our organization, fundraise over $7,000 dollars to support students attending the national USITT conference, and host educational and entertaining events for two years in a row.
Below, I've included our most successful projects and examples of the strategies and communications my team and I used in order to execute them.

Fundraising
As Vice President of Finances, I was responsible for creating two fundraising avenues that proved to be successful. As an organization, we began selling themed raffle baskets at each show our members worked on, which added to our established concessions profits. I also organized a week-long fundraiser named Tech Takeover that featured different events and community tie-ins.

Communication
As President, I was responsible for making sure all relevant information about our chapter and the wider USITT organization reached our members. I designed newsletters, informational packets, and meeting presentations to ensure that our members had all the information they needed.

Connection
One of our greatest priorities during my tenure on the USITT-OCU board was increasing our connections to our community, both on campus and off. In pursuit of this, we hosted events that connected us with other student organizations and local businesses.

Support
As an organization, we supported students in pursuing career certifications by funding and organizing an OSHA 10 Class that allowed 18 students and staff to recieve their OSHA 10 card. Our fundraising also allowed over 25 students to attend the national USITT conference two years in a row.
